- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆May 20, 2019, by MMG DCEvery small town needs a hardware store. When a town dies the hardware stores is among the last go. I know because I was a small town boy myself. It has a small town feel because it isn't built like a giant warehouse, it is a building that would be at home in Mayberry and Mr. Brown and his staff and make you feel welcome from their 1st greeting to “ what may I help you with.” I am amazed at what I find there. Maybe not a bin full of a 100, maybe only two or three but the next time you come in Mr. Brown has ordered some more. It is a pleasure to shop there.
